Lotus corniculatus

Bird's-foot trefoil

Spreading stems 18″ (45 cm) or more spread out to form broad clumps. The bright yellow flowers, 3 to 8, form umbels. Leaves alternate on the stems and are pinnate with 5 leaflets. Usually found in disturbed places such as roadsides.
