Columbia Lewisia
aka Rock Lewisia. Rising from a basal rosette of succulent leaves are several slender, often reddish, stems that may reach 1′ (30 cm). Branching off the upper part are loose clusters of 1/2″ seductive little flowers usually white or rose colored with dark crimson to purple veins. Not common and mostly found on the southwest side of the Park on gravelly slopes and rock outcrops between 4,000′ to 7,000′ elevation.
