Fan-leaf Cinquefoil
aka High Mountain Cinquefoil, Fan-foil. The fan shape of the three leaflets forming the basal leaves distinguish the plant. There are one to five showy orangish yellow flowers on stems 4 – 12″ (10 – 30 cm) long. There are seven cinquefoil species in the Park. Fan-leaf is normally associated with subalpine meadows at between 4,500′ – 7,000′ elevation.
