Hooded Ladies' Tresses
An eye-catching orchid (aren’t they all). Rows of white or cream colored flowers twist in spirals forming a dense spike. Stems up to 24″ pop up above the surrounding grasses often in small clusters which form an elegant display. The leaves are mostly basal, slender, linear to oblong and up to 8″ in length. Grows in moist places in low to moderate elevations.
