Nuttall's Linanthus
aka Linanthus nuttallii, Linanthastrum nuttallii. Five intense yellow stamens highlight the throat of this brillant white flower. The flowers, which emit a fragrance in full bloom, cluster on stems which form clumps to about one foot (30 cm). The leaves are not stalked and have five palmate spreading lobes appearing to be in a whorl. Usually found on the southwest side of the Park (the case here) at between 5,000′ to 6,500′ elevation.
