The leaves are spoon-shaped or nearly round, thick, fleshy and glossy appearing ready to pop. The highly attractive luminescent flowers have five narrow lance-shaped petals, usually less than a 1/2″ long. Uncommon in Rainier, found on rocky open sites below 5,500′ elevation.
